We are huge history buffs over here.
Okay, by we I mostly mean The Dudes. I’m more of a live-in-the-present-lets-watch-reality-shows-girl myself.
They watch the History Channel the way other kids watch Nickelodeon. And I don’t just mean the fun series (hello, Pawn Stars) that every one gets swept up in. I’m talking presidential biopics, war related specials, and those history mystery shows about random events most people don’t even know happened.
It’s weird. But also cool.

He’s 100% wrong and I told him I don’t care what some old, dead, former pres has to say on the matter, broccoli will be going in his gut along with whatever other greenery I shove at him. He informed me that if he becomes president he will never ever eat it or any other vegetable aside from corn and salsa again.
Salsa is totally a vegetable.
